Focused in representing clients in catastrophic personal injury matters, wrongful death, construction negligence and accidents, aviation tragedies, medical malpractice incidents, premises liability, nursing home negligence and accidents, victims of burn injuries and workers' compensation matters, this well accomplished law firm has won millions of dollars on behalf of their clients.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working on plaintiff’s personal injury and/or workers compensation cases.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Meet with clients to discuss their work-related injuries or illnesses
Assess the circumstances surrounding the injury and gather relevant information
Conduct legal research to build a persuasive case on behalf of the client
Ensure all necessary documentation is collected and submitted within legal deadlines
Negotiate with insurance companies or employers to reach fair settlements
Prepare and present a compelling case on behalf of the client
Represent clients in hearings, depositions, or court proceedings
Advocate for clients' rights to medical treatment, disability benefits, and rehabilitation services
Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
Inform clients to any updates regarding their case
Requirements:
Illinois Bar License
2+ years of legal experience working on personal injury and worker’s compensation cases.
Experience managing a heavy caseload, ensuring timely updates and actions on each case.
Excellent ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Strong critical thinking skills
Adaptability and attention to detail
Ability to communicate in writing and verbally effectively
