Trilogy Education Services (Trilogy) has retained SmartHire to conduct a search for a Full Stack Developer in their Boca Raton office.

Responsibilities

  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers and designers with server-side logic. A strong understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary
  • Planning and completion of projects and features, starting from vague basic description to detailed scope and realization.
  • Ability to balance a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
  • Testing and QA of elements created by yourself or others
  • Working with the team to Plan and Prioritize new projects and features
  • Create and modify themes, handle administrative tasks for WordPress multisite network.
  • Implement code that follows accessibility and security best practices
  • Optimization of websites/applications for maximum speed and scalability

Experience
  • Experience using Git/Github collaboratively on development projects
  • Experience writing Wordpress Themes and Plugins
  • Experience knowledge of OOP principles and practices as well as Design Patterns, SOLID principles
  • Experience with Frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend
  • Experience collaborating with a team (Project manager, designer, other developers, content teams)
  • Experience meeting tight deadlines, applying bug fixes quickly and efficiently, and adjusting to rapidly changing priorities
  • Experience with Project Management software (Jira, Basecamp, etc), time tracking, etc
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile approach on development tasks
  • Experience Managing, Maintaining and Synchronizing multiple environments (Live, Staging, Production, Developer etc.)
  • MUST HAVE: Publicly visible work
