We have been retained by Trilogy Education Services to search for a talented individual to join their team as the New Curriculum & Content Product Manager (Product Manager) in their NYC Midtown office.  

We Are Seeking:
A highly motivated and self-disciplined Product Manager to help oversee our curriculum and content development processes. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience (5+ years) in product management whether in publishing, software development, education delivery, or a related field. They should be passionate about technology and even more passionate about education and learning.

In This Job You Will: 
  • Manage the production process of course design and planning through course launch, delegation of tasks, budget ownership, and execution of on-time, complete deliverables.
  • Closely manage teams of subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, graphic designers, and editorial staff towards the creation of new courses for adult learners.
  • Track and routinely report to all necessary parties on the status of course creation including the escalation of any course development issues or changes in direction.
  • Cultivate relationships with outside experts in new subject matters, working closely to onboard and train them on the development of course content and educational products.
  • Articulate and reinforce course development best-practices and support SMEs in their maintaining quality standards.
  • Research opportunities for new courses based on market demands and job markets.
  • Support external marketing, admissions, university, and recruitment teams in product positioning, the development of student-facing marketing materials, and representing Trilogy to external university partners.
  • Champion the product to internal and external stakeholders in the form of “product pitches”, training sessions, and marketing campaigns.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in product management, education operations, publishing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and managing the product vision, strategy, roadmap development, and execution
  • Superior editing, writing, and critical reasoning skills; outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and presence. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly.
  • Confident decision-making skills and an ability to lead people in order to get results.
  • Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
