Leading healthcare organization specializing in Memory Care and Support is searching for a RN supervisor  to join their team.     

As part to the leadership team, the RN Supervisor is licensed in the State of Illinois.  The Supervisor ’s key role is to manage and maintain the wellbeing of Client care. The Supervisor’s key responsibilities are to provide leadership to the Quality Care Team while providing solutions and resolutions to challenging situations in the home. Supervisor is responsible for providing reporting and analysis on departmental objectives as related to compliance, productivity, profitability, and projection. Additionally the Supervisor  is responsible for: 

Responsibilities / Activities
  • Lead, Develop and Support the Quality Care Team including Quality Care Supervisors, Quality Care Support Specialist, Quality Care Placement Specialist and on call staff.
  • Coach, Mentor and Discipline, when needed, all direct reports while training Quality Care Supervisors to do the same
  • Meet with VP of Marketing and Quality Care Placement Specialist weekly to discuss new cases
  • Meet with Vice President of Operations bi-weekly to review departmental analysis and compliance along with brainstorming solutions and processes to improve our operations
  • Ensure all clients are visited within the first two weeks of service and every 60 days thereafter, to ensure Care Plans are accurate and the caregiver(s) assigned in meeting/exceeding clients’ expectations
  • Ensure Gross Profit Margins are healthy
  • Conduct home visits personally when needed for complex clients, service issues or as needed for Supervisor training
  • Provide solutions / resolutions to challenging situations in the home
  • Work with the Director of Sales & Marketing as needed to handle Customer Service challenges
  • Conduct Quality Improvement meetings with Vice President of Operations to ensure all cases are healthy
  • Coordinate with the Vice President of Education in the development of staff training programs
  • Oversee and develop new programs (i.e. – TLC / Music and Memory, Caregiver Mentor Program)
  • Provide hands-on training to Caregivers in the home as needed
  • Manage investigation/ incident reports/complaint log records and conduct follow-up as needed
  • Work with HR & Compliance Manager to conduct safety investigations
  • Manage reporting to IDPH and APS
  •  Provide investigation record reports to the Vice President of Operations as requested
  • Communicate with, and provide feedback to, other departments as needed
  • Assist with operation reporting /all other reporting as needed or as requested by Management
  • Attend meetings, leadership development, and professional development training as needed
  • Be available for phone calls after hours and on the weekends to direct Supervisors on call when needed

Required Knowledge / Abilities
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.  Licensed RN in the state of Illinois required.  
  • Must have supervisory experience 
  • Home care, home health, senior living or similar experience preferred.
