Healthy Foods organization is searching for a talented Engineer Project Manager to join their growing organization.
Reporting to the leadership team, the Engineering Project Manager (EPM) is an integral part of the organization and will be responsible for small to midsized engineering projects. The EPM will utilize their knowledge and experience in manufacturing and process engineering and their understanding of manufacturing organizations in the flavors and ingredients space to develop and manage manufacturing and capital construction projects.
Manage all project aspects from scope development, to scheduling and completion
Design and plan the layout of equipment
Conduct research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes
Develop processes for separating components of liquids and gases, or for generating electrical currents, by using controlled chemical processes
Conduct tests and monitor the performance of processes throughout production
Evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Managing capital construction projects
Work closely with outside vendors to deliver project requirements on time within budget allocated.
Troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes
Estimate production costs for management
Assist operations with projects as needed
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing or chemical engineering or related required.
Management of Capital Construction projects.
2+ years of relevant plant engineering experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with CAD or other similar design software required
Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access and a comfort level of learning new systems
Experience with Sage ERP system highly desired or experience with other similar ERP system needed.
