Technology Evangelist and Business Development Driver

Our client is seeking an experienced Technology Evangelist and Business Development Driver, with strong Technology Solutions Sales experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling technology solutions including Data integration and Migration, Managed IT, Cloud and Infrastructure, Web and Mobile App Development, Digital Transformation, Technical Staff Augmentation and more. They should have relationships in the Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) firm space. This Senior level professional will work directly with the leadership team and be responsible for the overall strategy, business development and sales of the organizations IT solutions.
Candidate must live in the West Coast Time zone.
From data configuration to enterprise-level software implementation, IT capability assessments to user training, and technology staff augmentation. Our client, a 30-year-old organization, provides cost-effective and efficient technology solutions for small to large businesses in multiple industries, large infrastructure utilities and more.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a deep understanding of the company's technology, as well as strong business development and relationship-building skills. They should have experience working with customers, partners, and investors to drive business growth, and a track record of developing successful partnerships.

Key responsibilities of a Technology Evangelist and Business Development Driver include:

  • Promoting the company's technology to potential customers, partners, and investors through a variety of channels, such as conferences, events, social media, and online forums.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers, partners, and investors to drive business growth.
  • Identifying new market opportunities and developing strategies to enter and grow in those markets.
  • Developing new products or services based on customer feedback and market demand.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and product management, to develop and execute go-to-market plans.
  • Leading the development of strategic partnerships with other companies, such as technology providers, resellers, and integrators.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and innovations, and providing insights and recommendations to the company's leadership team.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing / Business Administration or similar preferred.
  • Demonstrated involvement in industry associations, groups, and social media engagement.
  • Technology sales or account executive experience with mid-size and enterprise customers required.
  • Experience with data integration and migration services sales.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with AEC firms and other organizations. 
  • Ability to travel when needed (mainly west coast.)
The organization offers a competitive benefits package, base compensation of approximately $90,000 - $130,000 depending on experience plus commission.
