About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator to support and manage our SharePoint environment, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient document management across our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering, configuring, and maintaining SharePoint Online, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing workflows to enhance user experience.

This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside within a 1-hour drive of San Diego, CA, as occasional on-site meetings may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain SharePoint Online environments, including permissions, libraries, lists, and workflows.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Configure and customize SharePoint solutions, including sites, web parts, and document management features.
  • Ensure security compliance by managing permissions, access controls, and governance policies.
  • Develop and implement Power Automate workflows, Power Apps, and integrations with Microsoft 365.
  • Provide end-user support and training to improve adoption and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to support system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Experience with SharePoint permissions, site collections, libraries, lists, and metadata management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD.
  • Ability to develop and manage workflows, automation, and customization using Power Platform.
  • Experience with troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and system optimization.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint security, governance, and compliance policies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills to support and train end users.
  • Must live within a 1-hour drive of San Diego, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SharePoint migrations (on-premise to cloud or tenant-to-tenant).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell for automation and administration.
  • Familiarity with third-party SharePoint tools and integrations.
  • Microsoft 365 or SharePoint-related certifications are a plus.

What We Offer

  • Approximate base salary range of $90,000 to $120,000
